The biosphere is made up of all of the organisms that dwell on Earth. This includes plants, animals, fungi, and bacteria. The biosphere contains millions of ecosystems which are intricately developed over time and can be set off balance by even the tiniest change in environment. As the world is heating, ecosystems are failing and plants and animals are becoming endangered. |
Acid RainWhen we burn sulfuric acids, harmful gases are added to the atmosphere that later produce acid rain which can pollute waters and kill plants and animals.

Ice Caps MeltingDue to rising temperatures, polar ice caps are meting. This destroys habitats and makes water levels change, throwing off aquatic ecosystems.

Greenhouse GasesWhen organic plant or animal matter decomposes into Earth, carbon dioxide and other green house gases are released into the atmosphere, heating the world.
